How to reach Ostia Antica from Rome?
If you have time you can get there with public transport from the capital. Start from the Porta San Paolo metro (Metro B Piramide) and board the train to Ostia Lido. Get off at the Ostia Antica stop, then cross the pedestrian bridge following the signs to reach the site.
But if you prefer, you and your family or friend can be picked up by a taxi. It will collect in front of your hotel and drop you off at the entrance! The taxi will pick up once the visit is over. Notice that the Ostia Antica tickets entry are not included in the taxi fare.
